US President Donald Trump was evacuated after shots were fired at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington DC, Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was killed in an Israeli strike, the pope visited inmates at an infamous Equatorial Guinea prison and robots outran humans in a Beijing half marathon.
