
The U.S. Geological Survey measured the tremor at magnitude 6.1 and located its epicenter about 104 km west-northwest of Mantua, Cuba.
An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 struck off
the coast of Cuba on Monday, the German Research Center for
Geosciences (GFZ) said.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ added.
There were no immediate reports of damages.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the earthquake at a 6.1
magnitude, with its epicenter 104 km west-northwest of Mantua,
Cuba.
No tsunami warning or watch was issued after the earthquake,
according to the U.S. National Weather Service.
