Peermusic signs songwriter Eyelar, forms writer development joint venture with 2-Tone Entertainment

Peermusic has signed songwriter and recording artist Eyelar to a worldwide publishing deal, while also launching a writer development joint venture with 2-Tone Entertainment.

The deal, announced on Tuesday (April 7), covers future works, administers select back-catalog titles, and creates a joint venture between Peermusic, Eyelar and 2-Tone Entertainment to sign emerging songwriting talent.

The exclusive songwriter agreement was signed in collaboration between peermusic U.K. and Peermusic Germany.

Eyelar’s writing catalog has generated over 2 billion streams globally. Her credits span artists including Charli XCX, RAYE, JADE, Anitta and Demi Lovato, alongside collaborations with electronic and alternative artists including Fred again.., Swedish House Mafia, Danny L Harle and Brian Eno.

Eyelar contributed vocals and a co-writing credit to Fred again..’s Grammy Award-winning album Actual Life 3, which won Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 66th Grammy Awards in February 2024.

Her track with Purple Disco Machine, Dopamine, has surpassed 188 million Spotify streams, according to Peermusic, earning Gold certifications in Germany and Italy.

“I’m grateful for everyone who has supported the journey so far and look forward to creating meaningful new music and collaborations in this next phase.”

She also co-wrote tracks on Sevdaliza‘s album Heroina — including the global hit Alibi , which Peermusic says has surpassed 1 billion streams worldwide and achieved Diamond certification in France.

Her most recent release, This Is Real (Disappear) with PARISI and Fred again.., was released via Warner Records and FFRR on February 27, 2026.

Harry Knyt, Head of A&R, UK, Peermusic, and Sarah Schneider, Head of A&R, Peermusic Germany, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Eyelar.

“Through the joint venture with Eyelar and 2-Tone Entertainment we will have the opportunity to help build careers for the next generation of writers coming through.”

Shaurav D’Silva, Founder of 2-Tone Entertainment, said: “The role of creative partners is evolving. Writers today are increasingly building long-term creative ecosystems around their work, and our focus is to support that process by connecting great writing with the right collaborators globally.

“Eyelar has an exceptional instinct for culturally resonant records and for recognising emerging creative voices early.

“This JV partnership with Peermusic allows us to continue building her career internationally, supported by Peermusic’s global infrastructure, while creating a framework that supports the next generation of writers.”

Eyelar added: “I’m excited to be starting this next chapter with Peermusic and continuing to build with 2-Tone. I’m grateful for everyone who has supported the journey so far and look forward to creating meaningful new music and collaborations in this next phase.”

Her forthcoming debut album, Promise of Chaos, is set for release later this year.

Founded by Ralph S. Peer in 1928, Peermusic says it is the world’s largest independent music publishing company, operating 39 offices in 33 countries with over a million titles in its catalog.

The company has been on an expansion drive in recent years. In January 2026, peermusic promoted Paul Smelt to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer, expanding his remit beyond neighboring rights to cover worldwide publishing operations.

In August 2025, peermusic appointed former Hipgnosis EVP James Cerreta as President for its US and Canada operations.

That same year, the company signed a sub-publishing deal with Australia’s Mushroom Music to represent its catalog across the Americas.Music Business Worldwide
