Fidesz MEP László attributes loss to low turnout of ‘undecided voters’ and EU ‘economic stagnation’



FRANCE 24’s Senior European Editor Armen Georgian is pleased to welcome András László, MEP for Patriots for Europe / Fidesz. According to Laszio, the outcome cannot be reduced to a single campaign misstep or policy failure. He says governing parties across Europe are all under pressure from economic stagnation. But he does accuse the opposition of a “filthy and hate-filled campaign” that prioritised personalities over substance and concrete policy positions. He warns the newly empowered majority holds significant institutional authority, yet its policy direction remains largely undefined.
