The new flight routes to and from Spain in spring 2026

Looking to make a last-minute getaway for Easter or want to fly to a new destination in April, May or June? We’ve unearthed all the new flight routes to and from Spain starting this spring.

War in the Middle East is having a considerably impact on international air travel.

Firstly, there’s the fact that stopovers in some of the world’s biggest transfer hubs in the Gulf, airports such as Dubai’s and Doha’s, are currently very limited. This is making travel to Asia and Oceania more complicated and expensive.

Secondly, there’s the fact that some European airlines have announced hundreds of flight cancellations, partly due to the conflict in the Middle East but also because of the spike in jet fuel prices.

However, air travel has by no means ground to a halt and Spain is fast becoming an even more desirable destination for spring and summer 2026 due to the safety it offers, along with its many other attractions.

In fact, there are a considerable number of new flight routes this spring that avid travellers should be aware of.
